The pair both started independently as home brewers and met through a fellowship of other local zymurgy enthusiasts in the Ottawa area. Their shared passion for well crafted beer, cool indie music and the desire to pursue a dream.

“We took the risk to figure out what the reward would be,” Plante said. “Life is too short to ask ‘what if’.”

Plante said that as they turn five years old, it’s hard to believe due to the fact that the business partners lost two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, where they were doing their best to deliver. their services and deliver beer to their loyal customers.

“We’re just happy to celebrate with a community that’s been really supportive of us,” Plante said.
