Responsibilities:

Work with the Sales Manager to support Maplewood’s sales and operations duties
-
Manage new item configuration forms, software and portals (via distributors/wholesalers, VIP SRS/iDIG/KARMA, Orchestra and other platforms as needed)

Monitor finished goods inventory in all distribution warehouses to ensure proper stock levels
-
Facilitate and schedule all distributor inbound product orders and shipments, as well as provide support for issuing invoices and credits as needed

Forecast production and packaging needs based on information from screenings, pre-orders and available data

Draft and submit purchase orders to contract partners for upcoming production orders

Provide information to contract and internal production teams to facilitate proper allocation of packaging

Coordinate and revise production schedules based on inventory needs and align with all channel partners

Communicate with inside sales team regarding order updates and potential production impacts

Execute the product allocation process across all distribution markets and internal teams

Assist in the processing and communication of orders from the self-distribution account

Prepare and update sales reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
-
Extract and analyze data to identify trends and business opportunities
-
Develop and implement tools and procedures to streamline projects and tasks across all departments

Maintain technical skills and knowledge on appropriate software platforms and resolve issues as needed
Qualifications:

Experience: 2+ years of experience in a sales or operations analytical role with a beverage alcohol supplier

Education: Minimum 4 year business degree or equivalent experience required

Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Calendar, etc. used daily) and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

Experience with VIP (SRS, iDIG, KARMA) and Orchestrated Beer or similar software

Comfortable with various team communication and project management platforms (Slack, Asana, Google Meet, Zoom, etc.)

Strong writing and communication skills, with high standards of customer service

Extremely organized and attentive to detail

Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently and manage time effectively
-
In-depth knowledge of the craft beverage industry and common beer/spirits production/packaging terms
-
Valid driver’s license, with the ability to travel within the market on occasion
-
Illinois Basset certification must be completed prior to start date
-
Optional: Server Certified Cicerone or Certified Cicerone
