Kannah Creek Brewing Company looks back on 16 years in celebration

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) – The Kannah Creek company is solid on a fine 16-year streak. Located on 12th Street and Pinyon Avenue, founder Jim Jeffryes wanted to provide people with a place to sit and have fun.

After making it through the first five years, he knew he would be on the run that would change his life.

“We’re just blessed with what we’ve done,” says Jim Jeffryes, founder of Kannah Creek Brewing Company. “We have a lot of help, we have good staff, and we continue to produce good products. “

Achieving and maintaining success requires constant work and progress.

“When this whole adventure started, Jim wanted to take an empty building and do something good with it.” Cora Dickey reports 16 years later, people come and go filling the place, supporting her dreams, looking for a good time with good food. . “

Homemade food and beers on the tap are some of what locals and tourists alike adore.

“The mimosa flight is awesome,” shares Richelle Kaiser, visiting from Littleton, “I’m here for the beer,” adds husband Troy Kaiser.

“As a business owner, there is a lot of stress in making customers happy, customers happy,” says Kaiser. today’s world will be very important to our future.

What keeps Kannah Creek going is support from the community and beyond.

“We couldn’t have done this without loyal customers, they also attract new customers and we really appreciate that,” Jeffryes recalls. “You have to grow somehow and new people are just wonderful to have.”

The company is 16 years under the belt and has branched out from its brand with Edgewater Brewery. No matter the distance or the length of time, Kannah Creek is home forever.

Kannah Creek’s official birthday is Monday, October 25, which means the specials, celebrations, and retro fare will continue all weekend until then. Sunday festivities include music by Morgan Crouse from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
