High Road Brewing Company Debut with Faucet Room Opening Nov. 24 in Walden, Silver Spring Township | La Sentinelle: News
A new brewery will join the Cumberland County brewing scene when High Road Brewing Co. opens two establishments in the coming months.
Matt Flinchbaugh, longtime owner of Flinchy’s Restaurant in Lower Allen Township, plans to launch his High Road brand with the High Road Taproom which will open on November 24 in the Walden community of Silver Spring Township at 146 Walden Way. Flinchbaugh also owns and operates Home Slice, a pizzeria in Walden.
âWe are fortunate to have a large number of beer lovers, and owning a brewery in my hometown has been a dream for years,â Flinchbaugh said in a press release from LM Gnazzo Promotion Strategies. “I know this community and am delighted to offer customers quality craft beers as well as fresh, locally grown and produced food in a relaxing, family atmosphere.”
The three-seat dining room will feature food items served by Flinchy’s, Home Slice and other Walden restaurants. The facility will include indoor and outdoor seating and new craft beers poured from 12 taps.
Flinchbaugh plans to open High Road Brewing Co.’s main site in Camp Hill Borough by summer 2022. The three-level bar is planned for the Neighbors & Smith office complex at 1801 Market St. in Camp Hill. High Road joins other retailers in the resort, including One Good Woman, Little Black Dress, and Plum Bottom.
Residents of Camp Hill voted in 2017 to reverse the city’s dry status to serve alcohol. High Road, which will be Camp Hill’s first beer-making company, will have an outdoor patio, three-level indoor dining areas, a two-sided bar with garage doors that will open onto the restaurant, a take-out area, a private dining areas and mezzanine overlooking the Borough of Camp Hill, according to the release.
âWe’re excited to create a live brewery where you can watch our master brewer create some of Central PA’s best craft beers in a new and distinctive atmosphere,â said Flinchbaugh.
